Chicken Soup for the Soul

The Writer’s Voice Vol. 8

After the May 8, 2009, derecho, much of Lucinda’s adopted community, was left without power for more than a week. Her story “Closet Echoes” recounts the very personal tragedy the storm brought to a dear friend.

The Writer’s Voice anthologies are only available through John A. Logan College and members of the Southern Illinois Writers Guild where Lucinda serves as president.
